EICMA Yamaha MT-10

Yamaha unveiled a new steed of its MT family powered by the YZF-R1‘s inline-4 engine. The MT-10 is a logical further step in this segment of naked motorcycles, which also includes MT-125, MT-03, MT-07 and MT-09. Its MT-10’s engine is based on the current R1’s but is now equipped with new intake, exhaust system as well as an optimized crank, in order to deliver strong low to mid-range torque. The Japanese brand equipped the MT-10 with an assist and anti-slip clutch along with Cruise control system, available as standard equipment. The electronic section features the YCC-T Ride by Wire, D-Mode Standard, A, B as Riding Modes, the 3-levels adjustable TCS traction control, with quick shifter available as an optional. The fork is developed from the R1’s suspension, but with different settings. The new Yamaha will be available at dealerships as of May 2016
